@gustavocabrall Yes, the same GWT Client on Android and Web would be great!

Thanks, this is great feedback! Xav and I had a great time giving this talk. You can find the demo source code, links to the live app and the full play-by-play of the demo on my blog.

    great stuff!
Any plan to include a sample integration with other mobile platform such as iPhone, WP7, etc
After all many appengine users will need to integrate it with several mobile device types including the specific push notification in each of them.
    Cheers

Great presentation. Please post the webb app code the google code project

  • gustavocabrall:

    1) It would be great if the RequestFactory, Proxy and Request interfaces used on the Android app were the same we have at a GWT client app!

    2) Even more impressive would be reusing whole GWT client code and run it on Android, after all it is all so similar: activities, XML (uiBinder), etc. ;)

Write once deploy anywhere (PaaS era). ;)

This is so cool and has so much potential for new and better Android apps! Great work!
